This past week, Life University has been using Facebook to communicate a series of announcements. The reason behind making these statements is because we feel it is time to declare what we stand for:
- Our goal is to maximize the expression of the perfection within.
- We recognize that all systems in the Universe are conscious/intelligent, self-developing, self-maintaining and self-healing.
- We believe that these systems work best when they are free of interference.
- We understand that the nervous system is responsible for orchestrating the internal and external dialogue of the body necessary for life.
- We acknowledge that there are three interferences to the nervous system: physical trauma, environmental toxins and emotional stresses.
- Therefore, our purpose is to correct these interferences allowing the organism to express its innate potential.
- Of critical importance is our Doctor of Chiropractic degree, which is focused on the relationship between the spine and the nervous system, and the aberration called vertebral subluxation.
It’s one thing to talk about your philosophy and mission; it’s quite another thing to actually live it. We will continue to take steps to maintain congruency between our words and our actions. Expect more news on these topics soon. You can also follow these announcements on the LIFE Facebook page.
Real World: DCs (RWDC) Recap – Dr. Pam Stone (’00) It was standing room only at Dr. Pam Stone’s practice, Stone Family Chiropractic, on the evening of April 4, 2013. Over 30 students packed into her Kennesaw office, eager to learn the ins and outs of pediatrics and receive beneficial “real world” advice.
Dr. Stone spent the evening educating the students on a multitude of topics including: innovative marketing techniques, social media, patient education, relationship building and community outreach. At the conclusion of the program, the students left feeling encouraged, informed and inspired.
RWDC is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for students to network with alumni and explore numerous practices, make personal connections and gather valuable information. It’s also an opportunity for alumni to give back to the University. Our next host will be Dr. Raymond Fowler (’83) of Integrated/Fowler Chiropractic & Rehab on Monday, May 20 from 7:00-9:00 p.m.
