What to Give: Gifts of Life Insurance

This is the right gift for you if you:

• Would like to make a significant gift to LIFE
• Would like to benefit from a charitable deduction
• Own a life insurance policy that no longer requires protection

You may transfer your life insurance to the University by contacting your insurance company and naming Life University as the owner and beneficiary of the policy.  This gift will generate a charitable deduction roughly equal to the cash surrender value of the policy on the date of the gift.  You may take an additional charitable deduction for the amount of any premium payments you subsequently make on LIFE's behalf.
